154 (onefiftyfour) was born in London in late 2018. Inspired by an obsession with music - particularly cult records from the late 70’s and early 80’s - and quintessentially British word-play, the brand creates contemporary clothing for both men and women.
Each season 154 will present a series of graphical t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies inspired by a seminal record. Word-play, lyrics, visual identities and palette will be drawn from hours of listening and obsessing over these timeless album, expressed in nuanced, and sometimes abstract graphical interpretations.
To sit alongside this seasonal collection, 154 will present a core collection of t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies and accessories embroidered in the UK. Unfussy, discreet and minimal the brand’s core collection is exactly that, a core part of the wardrobe.
Just as musical artists are celebrated with the brand’s seasonal collections, visual artists are celebrated with capsule collections offered throughout the season. Each capsule an uninhibited exploration of one artists work.
For Pre-Spring/Summer 19, 154 have worked with London based Norwegian illustrator Maria Midttun, on a capsule collection of t-shirts and sweatshirts celebrating the artists instantly recognisable take on the human condition.
